Origami Workshop at Museum of Jewish Heritage June 8th, 2017

I will conduct an Origami Workshop on Thursday, June 8, 2017 for classroom teachers from 1:00 to 2:30pm at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, 36 Battery Place in New York City. This workshop is just one offering at a professional development conference on the topic of “Jewish Resistance During the Holocaust.” In this workshop, teachers will learn how to connect the art of origami through a hands on demonstration of folding boats, flowers and cranes. In addition, suggestions on how to connect the art of origami to integral topics in the school curriculum such as immigration and WWI will be offered.
